Rivers,oceans,ponds,pools....might be pretty but I find drains to be beautiful ! The poem signifies a drain in comparison with a river ! The poem distinguish the two words i.e. Pretty and Beautiful !
I find the drain
to be more beautiful
than any river!
The river might be
an eye catcher for all
but I find the drain
beautiful than all.
her soul is so pure
she takes in all the pain
The drain,
She knows she is impure
at a sight
but I can see below
under than street light.
She sips and dips
all clutter beneath
She is rough and tough!
She don't chatter to the world
just like the river
She don't flatter the hearts
just like the river
but she has gone through
so much in the lush
and she has seen the life of the rush..
The river for all might be attractive
